Top-quality Holle organic baby food promotes healthy, sustainable nutrition through simplicity and diversity – a natural range of products with a small, high-quality selection of seasonal and regional raw ingredients. Our aim is to provide holistic nutrition for babies and small children.
By law, baby and infant food must not contain preservatives or artificial flavourings. For our organic baby food, our own Holle criteria go far beyond this, excluding the use of granulated sugar, salt, spices and all flavourings.
Demeter focuses on particularly gentle processing and prohibits the excessive processing of products. We are firmly committed to preserving the special quality of the organic raw ingredients in our Holle products.
For infant formulas in particular, a special legal framework applies that stipulates which levels of vitamins and minerals need to be added to ensure the healthy development of children. We strictly follow this when developing our recipes.
From baby to infant to child, Holle offers suitable organic products for all stages. Ensuring a product range that is aligned with their nutritional requirements lies at the very heart of our self-image. In some cases, we go far beyond the requirements of current food laws. For us, this includes regularly raising awareness among parents and our retail partners in accordance with the latest findings in nutritional science.

The highest possible social and ethical principles form the basis of our Holle Code of Conduct, which lies at the root of everything we do. Our Code of Conduct bundles our requirements for suppliers: respect for international human rights, the renunciation of child labour, fair working conditions and environmental aspects, animal welfare and business integrity.
Stronger together
Our Code of Conduct forms the interface between our internal goals and our expectations concerning the conduct of our partners throughout the value chain. It consistently implements the expectations that our trading partners have of us and our supply chains. With this Code of Conduct, we exercise our duties from the German Supply Chain Act (LkSG) in our supply chains.
Together with our suppliers, we implement our Holle Code of Conduct in order to ensure key aspects like quality, environmental protection and fair, social working conditions throughout the value chain. Production and working conditions must comply with the ILO Conventions, the UN Global Compact, OECD Guidelines and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of the United Nations. We also expect our partners to support us in the implementation of our ecological sustainability goals and assume responsibility for the areas of climate and resource protection, raw ingredient procurement, biodiversity preservation and animal welfare themselves.
Breastfeeding is the best way to provide infants with the nutrients they need for their healthy growth and development. It also plays an integral role in forming the deep attachment between mother and baby. A healthy and balanced diet during pregnancy and breastfeeding will benefit your milk production, as well as nursing your baby from the start and at regular intervals.
If you need to supplement your baby’s breast milk diet, please consult a healthcare professional (e.g. paediatrician, midwife, parents’ counsellor, nutrition consultant). Using infant formula may have adverse effects on your milk production and on the breastfeeding process itself. If you decide not to breastfeed your baby at all, you might not be able to reverse this decision later.
Please always follow the preparation instructions on the package, as improper use and storage can lead to health problems.
